A small beautiful handmade solid Walnut Japanese-style sliding lid Box

A beautifully handcrafted Japanese-style wooden toolbox, made from solid walnut and individually made in my workshop in the UK.

This compact box features a traditional sliding lid design, with carefully shaped wooden components that give it its distinctive Japanese character.

The rich natural colour and grain of the walnut make every box unique. No two pieces will be exactly the same.

This box is ideal for storing small tools, woodworking accessories, artists’ supplies, stationery, sewing equipment, jewellery or other treasured items.

It would also make an unusual gift for someone who appreciates fine woodworking, Japanese design and beautifully crafted wooden objects.

Each box is individually made by hand by my self, allowing particular attention to the fit, proportions and finish.

The natural walnut grain is the main feature of the box, with the timber selected to create an attractive finished piece.

Please note: As this is made from natural timber, the colour, grain and figure will vary slightly from the photographs. This is part of what makes each handmade box unique.
